We offer certified courses for Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Hessen, Niedersachsen, Saarland und Rheinland-Pfalz that meet your exact Bildungsurlaub requirements. If you are interested in another state, please contact us anyway and we will try to help you.

Language skills in particular are becoming more and more relevant in everyday life and work. Therefore, a language course is perfect for your educational leave.
Since each federal state has its own rules and regulations regarding application and implementation, we are happy to support and help you.
Important to know:
Have you already been working for your current employer for 6 or even 12 months?
Then you are usually entitled to 5 days of educational leave per year, or even 10 days in two years.
Each federal state has its own regulations regarding educational leave, which are based on where you work and not where you live.
Currently our courses are recognized in Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate, but even if you work in another state, we will try to find a solution for you.
Apply for educational leave – step by step to your educational leave
This is how it works:
Are you interested in educational leave and especially language travel? Choose a course that suits you best (intensive course/super intensive course). You also have the possibility to book additional activities like yoga, surfing, diving, windsurfing, hiking, dance classes and much more.
Download your educational leave application now and contact us to download the rest of the required documents.
→ Fill out our contact form and you will get access to the following additional required documents:
- recognition for your state
- a course schedule for your language level
- a preliminary enrollment confirmation
Print out the documents, fill in and sign your application for educational leave, and you’re done with the paperwork
Submit the application for educational leave and the three documents you have received from us to your employer by the deadline and have the submission date confirmed. → The application deadlines can be between 4 and 10 weeks before the start of the requested period.

Now, all you have to do is wait for the approval of your supervisor or HR department and off you go on your educational leave.

The courses
You have the option of attending an intensive course (30 hours per week) or a super intensive course (40 hours per week).
We are flexible and will tailor your course to suit you and the requirements of your state.
We offer group courses (maximum 8 participants) as well as individual one-to-one courses.
Course start: always on Mondays, all year round
Course duration: flexible, 1- 52 weeks
Language level: all language levels
Class description: participants will improve their language skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, vocabulary expansion, and pronunciation.
Lesson times: 45 min per class, start and end time variable e.g. 9:00-12:30 and 16:00-18:00

Additional services
The airport of Gran Canaria is located about 25 km outside the city. There are direct transport connections by bus (the fastest and cheapest) or taxi. Alternatively, we offer an airport transfer for your arrival and departure, which will take you directly to the booked accommodation.
